The origin of all Hallows Eve dates back to the Celtics. 1000 B.C. the Druids (ancient Celtic priests)
celebrated October 31st as the highest holy day of Satan. This is when the lord of DEATH
called together the souls of the wicked,
who had died during the past year, to mingle with the living.
The Priests believed
that if they would honor their chief god, Samhain
(You may launch a Yahoo or Google search on Samhain),
they would be safe from the evil spirits that were loosed to roam the earth for revenge one evening a year.
This pagan “Festival of the Dead”
gave rise to the practice of many horrible rituals.
One of which was the practice of casting animals and humans into bon-fires hoping to appease the haunting spirits.
TRICK OR TREAT ?
Many elements of the customs connected with Halloween,
I call it HELL-o-ween,
today can be traced to these Druid demonic ceremonies.
On this unholy night, as children go from door to door,
they are re-enacting an ancient superstition.
In fear of the “visiting spirits” on Halloween night, it was custom to set out food treats hoping to make the spirits friendlier.
Neglect to do so would result
in some form of wicked trick done to that household.
In Europe this custom is still upheld in the countryside where people on farms leave out porridge.
Let me tell you the truth there is no act to stop a demon spirit from bothering you except by
The power of the Holy Spirit of
The Lord Jesus.
After the spirits were appeased, masked and costumed villagers,
representing the souls of the dead,
paraded to the outskirts of town leading the spirits away. Again this was done to avoid any calamites
the dead might bring upon them.
People thought that
were people who were changed into cats
as punishment for their
Came from a tale of a man named Jack who was banned from heaven and hell,
condemned to walk the earth with his lantern.
Represented the followers of Satan
on their way to special worship services in his honor.
In America, the founding Fathers Forbade Halloween.
Halloween was not celebrated until the 1900’s when the Irish immigrants brought it over the Atlantic Ocean.
Something once forbidden has now become part of our culture.
Pope Gregory lll replaced the festival of Samhain with the feast of all saints (a festival honoring the dead catholic saints). This was in protest to the strange customs of the Celtics. Because of this “date” change, many falsely think Halloween is an outgrowth of Christian tradition. The sincere attempt of protest from the Catholic Church was a worthy one, but the pagan influence proved much too dominant.
Today, witches observe October 31st as their fall festival celebration in honor of their pagan gods.
Satanists continue to engage in all sorts of perversions
including animal and human sacrifices.
Many feel that Halloween is only “fun” and kids don’t know the difference anyway. Parents be clear on one thing,
this is no innocent:
“Free chocolate and candy day”.
When we engage in celebrations
that are tributes to Satan and pagan gods,
we fail to acknowledge the reality
of those demonic forces and their influence in the world.
It’s important for Christian parents, and all parents for that matter,
to recognize the serious matter they allow their children to take part in disguised as innocent fun.
Teachers, and pastors please share the true evil meaning of Halloween. Christians should not be part of these festivities!
The Bible says !
“But all things become visible
when they are exposed by the light,
for everything that becomes visible is light.
For this reason it says.
Awake sleeper. And arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.
Therefore be careful how you walk,
not as unwise men, but as wise,
making the most of your time,
because the days are evil.
So then do not be foolish,
what the will of the Lord is."
“When you enter the land
which the Lord your God gives you,
you shall not learn to imitate
the detestable things of those nations.
There shall not be found among you
anyone who makes his son or daughter
pass through the fire,
one who uses divination,
one who practices witchcraft,
or one who interprets omens,
or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell,
or a medium, or a spiritist,
or one who calls up the dead.
For whoever does these things
is detestable to the Lord,
and because of these detestable things
the Lord your God will drive them out before you.
You shall be blameless before the lord your God.”
I have watched first hand the evil practices in the witch city head quarters of the world. In Salem, Massachusetts, a city with a Biblical name, on Halloween nights. Every year an estimated 100,000 people flock to town.
They are drawn into evil lured by palm readings, astrology, and tarot card readings. These are mild forms of demonic activities all disguised as "innocent fun".
It will be no fun one day when you realize
what I have shared here is the truth
if you don”t know JESUS as Lord and Savior.
As I wrote the above scripture here
a handful of TV shows came to mind.
These evils mentioned in the Bible
are openly displayed right into your home every day, and not only on HELL-O-WEEN.
So what is your choice ?
If you call yourself a loving caring parent ?
How can you expose your children to such evil ?
Are your giving their souls to the devil
for a few pieces of candy ?
“And do not participate
in the unfruitful deeds of darkness,
but instead even expose them.”
“Do not be bound together with unbelievers;
for what partnership have righteousness
or what fellowship has light with darkness ?
Or what harmony has Christ with Belial,
or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever ?
Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols ?
For we are the temple of the living God;
just as God said;
I will dwell in them and walk among them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be My people.
Therefore come out from their midst
and be separate, says the Lord.
And do not touch what is unclean;
and I will welcome you.
And I will be a Father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,
says the Lord Almighty.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves
from all defilement of flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
2. Corinthians 6:14- 7:1
“Finally, be strong in the Lord,
and in the strength of His might,
put on the full armor of God,
that you may be able to stand firm
against the schemes of the devil.
For our struggles is not against flesh and blood
( humans ),
but against the rulers, against the powers,
against the world forces of this darkness,
against the spiritual forces
in the heavenly places.”
“Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with a love incorruptible.”
